This is one of the more unusual Drexel pieces we’ve had. I would lean towards calling it a single pedestal desk, but am not quite sure of myself since there are two banks of drawers flanking the left leg. From the left is a file drawer, then a bank of three drawers with conical black walnut pulls, and a pencil drawer in the kneehole. The legs are fish eye shaped, with simple stretchers, it is finished on all sides. A handsome desk that packs a wallop for its small foot print. It is in very good condition having recently been oiled, but with wear to the writing surface. Designer unknown. Measures 26 1/2 X 54 1/2 X 29 1/4″h.
