Stainless Steel Op Art Plaques by Romeo Rega

Categories: ,

These beautifully crafted pieces of modern art by Romeo Rega were created in the 1970s and originally purchased in Florence, Italy. They are heavy gauge stainless steel with a Vasarely-like design seemingly etched into the stainless steel; the design itself is highly polished while the background is matte. Beautifully executed and impressive. Well marked with the gallery’s(?) label, the plaques are in excellent condition with a hard to see ding in the circular one. Substantial in material and size, each plaque measures 22 X 22 X 1″d.
