Outsider Art Painting by Rodman Pell, 1909-1995, a direct descendant King Edward II and of the 17th Lord of the manner of Pelham….Pell / Pelham, get it? His family owned all of westchester county! He lived his entire in Greenport, Long Island in the fishing/seafood industry, and took up painting at 61. Untrained, he paintied lots of LI coastal townscapes like this one, and his work is now a somewhat sought after collectable, especially in  the New York area. Unframed. Measures 16 X 20.
