This Paul McCobb Planner Credenza with Tri Fold Doors, Brass Base & Vitrolite Top was made by Calvin Funiture as part of McCobb’s Irwin Collection in the eARLY 1960s. This particular piece is a prime example of McCobb’s work. In addition to being part of the Calvin/Irwin collection, long considered to be his finest and using high quality parts such as mahogany, brass, etc, the three defining design elements on this credenza; the vitrolite, tri-fold doors and delicate square stock brass legs are iconic McCobb elements and lovely to see in a single piece. The tri fold doors open so the entire interior of the cabinet is exposed. Interior is divided; adjustable shelf on the left and two drawers with storage below on the right. The cabinet is in very good original condition. It retains its original adjustable glides, the doors operate well and the vitrolite is in good condition. It measures 19 X 60 X 34 1/2″h.
