This Pair of Finn Juhl NV 53 Settees were made by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder in 1953 and feature a sculptural upholstered seat and back contrasted by a highly carved teak frame culminating in a floating tapered arm. The upholstery and foam need replacing, but otherwise these sofas are in excellent condition, and represent a classic example of value at White Trash; these sofas sell for between $7,000-$11,000 each at the “finer” stores, completely redone.
