Long parsons style writing desk or console table with modular 3 drawer floating pedestal on wheels, designed by Milo Baughman for Directional Furniture Company, circa 1960s, USA. Featuring sophisticated, sleek lines characteristic of Baughman’s renowned MCM style, integrated with functionality. Table is constructed of walnut raised over simple black lacquered square legs and stretchers, and the pedestal has Baughman’s signature T pulls with a book-matched face.
In excellent original condition with some lightening to the top and light stains at the edge of top where one sits. (I think some liquid got caught between the top and the protective glass that used to sit on it). Item presents beautifully clean with a perfect patina. Measures 66ʺW × 24ʺD × 29.5ʺH.
