Maclamps by Terrence Conran for Habitat 1960

Two Maclamps manufactured in England and designed by Terrence Conran for Habitat 1960, with a wonderful combination of wood and painted metal. Terrence Conran was a pioneer in bringing Modern Design to the masses, both in England and in the USA, though his shops Habitat and later, Conrans. He championed designers like Paul Mayenand was such an important and revered figure that he was knighted and carries the title Sir. One in red and one in purple, they are in excellent original condition and measure 4 1/2″w X 20″h X 16″d. $195 ea. Red lamp sold.
