Said to be an answer to the Eames wire chair are Harry Bertoia’s Wire Chairs for Knoll. Bertoia worked with the Eames on their chair but ended up producing a (very successful) competing chair by the other manufacturer Knoll. These chairs date to the 70s and have welded repairs to them, but present beautifully and are sturdier than their younger selves. $250 pair.
