Gio Ponti Rare Set of Four Model 676 Dining Chairs

Designed by Gio Ponti and manufactured by Cassina a very rare set of four dining chairs model AP 676, circa 1953. Beautifully sculptural chairs with architectural walnut frames.

The Villa Planchart (1953–1957) in Caracas, and considered one Ponte’s masterpieces made use of this model chair in the living room.

In very good original condition, they have been reupholstered along the way, are structurally sound, usable as they are and wonderful candidates for a redo. Measures 19 1/2 X 19 1/2 X 33″h
