Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller Mansonia Cabinet

Categories: ,

This Gilbert Rohde Mansonia Cabinet was originally produced around 1936 by Herman Miller. It was redone at some point and is in good condition. It is constructed of Mansonia and finished in a combination of light and dark stain. The small, compact scale of the cabinet is quite striking and very NYC-friendly; the two doors reveal two adjustable shelves on the right and a single adjustable shelf on the left. Rohde preceeded George Nelson as Herman Miller’s design director. Measures 15 X 48 X 29″h.
