Eames Aluminum Group Management Chair by Herman Miller in Black

Categories: ,

Their Aluminum Group Collection (1958) began as a special project for Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard, who needed seating for a house they were designing for J. Irwin Miller. Shifting from the idea of a chair as a solid shell, the Eameses combined newly affordable aluminum with a sling seat that subtly conforms to the body’s shape. In soft black leather, this chair, in excellent condition, dates to 2012, and is well marked with Herman Miller tags. H 31-34″ W 23″ D 23″ Seat H 17-20″ Arm H 24.25-27.25″.
