This Walnut Desk was made in 1955 by Drexel and was part of the Profile line. It features a leather top, thick sculpted sides on thinly tapered legs, with a second sliding door compartment at the rear of the top. At the top of the single two drawer pedestal is a slide-out keyboard stand made of solid Walnut, and there is a large pencil drawer in the center underneath the work surface. Designed by John van Koert, every detail has been beautifully executed, from the center tapered stretcher bar to the smooth flat exposed sides of the top edges. The desk is in very good original condition with wear consistent with it’s age and with wear to the rear edge of the leather. Measures 32 1/2″d X 54″l X 35″h.
