This bespoke Nuts and Bolts Large Prada Robot is a super fun and playful object while also a great, unpretentious, piece of sculptural art. Its previous owner said it “was Prada”, but we haven’t been able to find anything remotely resembling it. But its quality and manufacture seems to indicate that it’s authentic-nicely made with many of the details of Prada’s better known small leather toys. Maybe it was a store fixture? It’s constructed of lacquered wood, chromed and brass metal, shiny common hardware, pink, black and clear plexiglass, and well-stitched fabric on wheel-feet. In excellent condition, it measures 6 X 9 1/2 X 21″h.
