Adjustable Aluminum Floor Lamp designed by Fridtjof Schliephacke for MEWA in 1959, and produced in Switzerland. Named the Berliner Bratpfanne (the berliner frying pan), original production had a difficult time with limited output of just 100 lamps per year. The lamp is fully adjustable with a rotating head. It is constructed with heavy aluminum flat-bar stem with a notched arm and a spun aluminum head on a heavy cast iron base, and operates via a cord switch. In excellent original condition, it measures 36″w X 10 1/2″d X 63″h. $2,750
