1960s Studio Pottery Menorah Sculpture

Categories: ,

Maybe the fact that this ceramic tabletop sculpture is a menorah detracts from the absolute loveliness of it as an objet d’art. On the other hand, it IS the best menorah ever and demands to be left out all year. Constructed of a ribbed rectangle ceramic ring which frames two hanging ceramic dove mobiles all heavily glazed with complimentary colors of algae and milky white, and mounted on two brass rods with an oak block base. Made in the 1960s, it is unsigned, in excellent condition and measures 13 3/4 X 3 1/3 X 12″h.
