This 1960’s American Walnut Gentleman’s Chest is beautifully made both inside and out. The left door opens to reveal a small, deep lined drawer, eleven sliding shirt shelves, a mirror angled for knotting one’s necktie, a tie rack and a small lined shelf for clips and links, all completely ebonized. The cabinet has a crisp 3/4″ edge and rests on tall, slender parsons style legs. The drawers are deep and plentiful, and the large scale of the piece works well. Designer and manufacturer unknown, it is in excellent condition and measures 18″d X 38″w X 56″h.
