We are always on the look out for a combination Floor Lamp with Table. We recently had one who's space saving virtues were touted in the New York Times, http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/24/garden/24cheap.html . But they are usually so dated or pedestrian that we mostly pass. This one is extremely well designed, with a conical cast metal, enameled base which appears to float above the floor, a walnut stem supporting an extremely thin and shallow masonite table, and a patinated, thinner, brass upper stem. It's demure scale and variety of materials make it a great example of a modest, modern look. It appears to be a Laurel Lamp, but is unmarked. It is in excellent condition and measures 14 X 51. SOLD.
