This String Design Teak and Coated Wire Wall Unit was made in the late 1950's, and designed by Nisse Strinning for String Design, Germany. To me, this is quintessential modern; It was made to use the least material and yet function well, it used the newest of technologies (coated wire) and was affordable enough so that if you grew up in Germany, you probably remember somebody having it. The custom hardware is very well thought out and of the highest quality. Offered here:
Set One; Five Teak Shelves measuring 8 X 31, Three Coated Wire Standards, and One Magazine Shelf. As seen the unit measures 8d X 40h X 62w.
Set Two; Six Teak Shelves measuring 8 X 31, Three Coated Wire Standards. As seen the unit measures 8d X 40h X 62w.
Both units in excellent condition, and may be put together to form five rows of wall unit measuring just under 13 feet, or separated to three, single row units. SOLD.
