This Simmons Painted Metal Writing Table with Chair was made in the 1950 for institutional settings. The single drawer has two aluminum pulls. Simmons was a premiere maker of metal furniture and employed Norman Bel Geddes as a designer. In good condition, it measures 19 X 34 1/2 X 30"h.
