The J39 is Borge Mogensen’s most successful chair, inspired by his teacher Kaare Klint and American Shaker furniture. He designed the simple woven chair while development head of the furniture department of FDB, the Danish co-operative chain. Designed in 1942. One Chair retains the FDB Label. Hand-woven seat in natural paper yarn. It is made of solid oak.
