This Kidney Shaped Table has a Lacquered Goatskin Finish that, though faux, is impeccable. The lacquer is thick and rich, and the stepped down design recalls Gibbings freeform “Mesa” table as rethought by Karl Springer for a small apartment. The scale of the table is striking in it’s compactness; it is just 40″long X 29″wide X 17″high, and is strong enough to sit upon. The table is marked with the client’s name in marker, but there is no manufacturer’s mark. There are some scratches to the lacquer finish along the top edge and some of the sides, but the top is in very good condition, and all in all the table is quite presentable in good condition.
