This Industrial/Medical Stainless Steel Desk with Four Drawers from the 1960s by Blickman, is an example of “they don’t make them like that anymore”. The steel is a thick gauge and the drawers with inset pulls operate by rollers. The frame is fully welded and the exterior desk-top, rail, and drawer pedestal are welded to it.
