Hand thrown Stoneware Table Lamp made by studio potter J. Williams. The beautiful form seems to be layers of stoneware built one on top of the other, but is actually gray, beige and brown striations created by glaze, giving it a rough hewn, brutalist feel. At once both a stunning and modest piece of pottery. Incised signature. Pot measures 9″d X 12″h and with the shade, stands 25 1/2″h.
