George Nelson Omni System Wall Unit

This George Nelson Omni System Wall Unit, designed in 1952 for Structural Products, was the predecessor to Nelson’s CSS Unit. It consists of two two-door cabinets measuring 18 X 31 X 24″h, one two-door cabinet measuring 18 X 31 X 14″h, one four-drawer cabinet measuring 18 X 31 X 24″h, twelve shelves, a magazine shelf and two original rail-mounted lamps all mounted on five machined aluminum rails. Constructed of American Walnut, these four bays stretch over ten feet! It is infinitely versatile as it is completely modular; shelves may be mounted on either side of the support rails (great for a flat screen). It’s construction and design speak volumes to Nelson’s ingenuity…brackets slide in to lock into the rails, and shelves are fastened to the brackets, and upon assembly it is rock solid. May be fasted to the wall via clips at the top rear (as seen), or original tension hardware may be used. Measures 123″ l X 18″d X 90″h. In very good condition with some wear to some of the larger cabinet tops.
