This Dorothy Draper Style Tall Secretary was made in the early 70s. As with all secretaries, the form is highly efficient taking up a small footprint for alot of storage and organization. That this one stands nearly six feet tall bodes even better for it, and it is unusual in its bold, burnt orange, modern take on the chippendale style. It operates via a drop-down work surface with automatic extending supports, which reveals 8 cubbies and two drawers, under two doors revealing 13 cubbies and 14 drawers all over four large drawers. The details are all stylized and fun; from the pulls, to the feet, to the “drummer boy” motif on the inside of the doors and crown molding. It is in very good condition. Measures 16″d X 34 1/2″w X 71″h.
