These Alvar Aalto High Back Dining Chairs, known as the # 66 Chair and constructed with a solid birch core with birch laminate and face material, and a red laminate seat top. Designed in 1935, the solid birch legs and a high seat back made from molded birch plywood give the chair a formal presence. These chairs are from the 1980s, made by Artek of Finland and distributed by ICF, and are in good condition with a school-room patina. 30 1/4″ high.
